List of 2016 GCAA Academic Teams
Norman, Oklahoma – The 2015-16 Bowling Green State University men's golf team was recognized as a 2016 All-Academic Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday, July 26.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year and the cumulative team GPA must be 3.0 or better.
The Falcons posted a team GPA of 3.188 over the 2015-16 academic year. In fact, all nine Falcon male golfers recorded a cumulative GPA of over 3.000 for the year, while junior Jose Narro and sophomore Mitchell Kontak each earned a spot on the MAC All-Academic Team.
