Men's Golf Signs Two Players with National Letters of Intent

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green men's golf team has signed two players with National Letters of Intent in Ward Kyle and Rodrigue Vie, who are to join the Falcons for the 2017-18 campaign.
A native of Epinal, France, Vie is a graduate of Notre Dame/St. Joseph. In the European Golf Rankings, Vie has posted an average score of 72.71 across five tournaments played, and has finished as high as 23rd overall at the Grand Prix in Chiberta, France in July of 2016. In April 2016, Vie won the French International Foursome Mixed Tournament, and most recently shot rounds of 73, 72 and 74 in the Grand Prix du Cap d'Agde on March 6-12.
A native of Sudbury, Ontario, Ward Kyle is a senior at Lockerby Composite School, where he was named team MVP for both the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. With his team, Kyle claimed the Sudbury District Secondary Schools Athletic Association (SDSSAA) and Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletics (NOSSA) Championships for the last three consecutive years, while individually he won the SDSSAA Championship in both his sophomore and junior campaigns. A multisport athlete, Kyle also served as team captain for both the golf and hockey teams at Lockerby. Kyle took first at the FSGA Southwest Amateur Series at Eagle Lakes, and tied for fourth at the AJGA Senior Showcase in Angel Park.
The Bowling Green men's golf program will round out the regular season at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate from April 22-23, before competing in the MAC Championships from April 28-30.
