Men's Golf Releases 2017 Fall Competition Schedule

2017-18 Schedule
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green men's golf program released the 2017 fall competition schedule, which is set to include six events taking place from September through November this fall.
The Falcons will kick off the 2017-18 campaign at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate from Sept. 8-10 in Zionsville, Ind. The three-day tournament is to be hosted by Indiana University at the Wolf Run Golf Club. The following week, the Falcons will participate in the Toledo-hosted Inverness Intercollegiate on Sept. 18-19, an event in which they finished tied for eighth at last season by a score of 878, +26.
Bowling Green will then return to another familiar tournament when they travel to Bridgeport, W. Va. for the Mountaineer Intercollegiate from Oct. 9-10. Last year, the Falcons finished eighth overall by a 54-hole score of 891, +27.
The Falcons will then appear in a new tournament in Duluth, Ga. From Oct. 16-17 at the Autotrader Collegiate Classic. Hosted by Georgia State at the Berkeley Hills Country Club, the two-day tournament will lead into another new event on Oct. 30, where the Falcons will compete in the MTSU-Old Fort Intercollegiate. A single-day event, the MTSU-Old Fort Intercollegiate will be hosted by Middle Tennessee State at the Old Fort Golf Club in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Rounding out the 2017 portion of the schedule will be the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic, an event in which the Falcons placed as high as sixth overall in 2014 by a total team score of 869, +17. Last season, the Bowling Green men's golf program carded a three-round score of 887, +35, while two golfers finished with even scores of 213.
