Men’s Basketball To Host Orange And Brown Scrimmage Oct. 21

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team is hosting an Orange and Brown scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. The scrimmage, which will be free to attend and open to the public, will be played on Bill Frack Court inside the Stroh Center. All parking for the scrimmage will be free.
"We are excited about our Orange and Brown scrimmage that we will be hosting for the community," said head coach Michael Huger. "As the season approaches, there is a lot of excitement around our team. We felt this would be a great opportunity for the community to see the growth in our returning players, and become familiar with the newest members of our squad. It will be a fun day at the Stroh Center!"
The 2018-19 men's basketball Falcons will be split into two teams, and play a pair of 15-minute halves with normal clock operations. A number of different engaging and fun activities are planned throughout the scrimmage.
Season Ticket Giveaways
• Enter in a raffle to win two (2) season tickets.
• There will be an opportunity for one fan to shoot a half-court shot to win two (2) season tickets.

Orange And Brown Scrimmage Promotions / Schedule
• A live DJ will be on site to perform throughout the scrimmage.
• New public address announcer Jerry Anderson will be on hand for the event to handle PA duties.
• There will be an in-scrimmage MC (Master of Ceremonies) during the event.
• There will be an opportunity for selected groups / fans to sit court side.
• Select free food and t-shirts will be made available.
• During halftime, the team will conduct a three-point competition, as well as a dunk contest.
• Two guest coaches will be selected to be on the sidelines during the scrimmage.
• There will be a meet-and-greet with the team following the scrimmage.
