Bowling Green, Ohio - The BGSU football program took part in the annual Kroger "Sacks For Cash" program this past season in an effort to help fight hunger in our community. The Falcons, who had 15 sacks during the 2018 regular season, earned $325 for the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank. For each sack during the season, Kroger donated $25 on behalf of UT and Bowling Green State University for a total of $1,225.

"BGSU is honored to help with the fight against hunger," said Bowling Green Head Coach Scott Loeffler. "Being new to Bowling Green, I am looking forward to partnering with Kroger, Northwestern Ohio Food Bank, and the University of Toledo to end hunger."
