Falcons Break into the National Rankings
September 10, 2019 | Men's Soccer
BGSU is 25th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll
The latest regional rankings were also released on Tuesday, and the Falcons are ranked second in the North Region. BGSU trails only Indiana University, the number-four team in the country, in the regional poll. BG moved up six spots in the region after an eighth-place ranking last week.
BGSU cracks the USCÂ national poll for the first time in two years, since Sept. 12, 2017. BG was 19th in the poll that week, the program's highest ranking since December of 1997.
This year's edition of the Falcons is 3-0-1, heading into Friday night's (Sept. 13) home opener vs. Ohio State. That match begins at 7:00 p.m. at Cochrane Stadium, and admission is free. The BGSU-OSU match will be streamed free of charge via WBGU-TV. The links for all audio, video and live stats can always be found right here at BGSUFalcons.com on game day.
