BGSU Football To Play At Louisville In 2025

Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University and the University of Louisville announced today that the two football programs will meet on the gridiron on Sept. 20, 2025 in Louisville.
For BGSU, this is the second announced non-conference game of the 2025 season. The Falcons will also play at Minnesota on Sept. 6 of that season.
For the two programs, it will be the first meeting all-time. Bowling Green is 3-10 all-time against current members of the Atlantic Coast Conference, in which Louisville competes. The Falcons are 2-0 all-time against Syracuse and 1-3 vs. Pittsburgh. Most recently, Bowling Green played at Georgia Tech in 2018.
BGSU went 3-9 in year one under head coach Scot Loeffler. The Falcons went 2-6 in Mid-American Conference play, including a victory over rival Toledo in the Battle of I-75. Louisville finished the 2019 season with an 8-5 record and 5-3 mark in the ACC. The Cardinals beat Mississippi State in the Music City Bowl 38-28.
