
Theocharidis, Lemke Named Jet's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Tim Theocharidis and diver Talisa Lemke.

Female Athlete of the Week
In the final regular season meet of her career, Talisa Lemke, a senior from Berlin, Germany, swept the diving events and set a new program record on the 1-meter board. Her score of 346.80 broke the previous record of 330.35, which she set at the 2019 Cleveland State Magnus Cup. Lemke also won the 3-meter dive, scoring 324.00. This victory was her 15th of the season, and it marked the seventh meet that she swept the diving events. She will compete at the NCAA Diving Zones for the fourth consecutive year.

Tim Theocharidis, a sophomore from Scarborough, Ontario, lit the lamp for the second time this season on Saturday night, marking the first power play goal of his career and second game-winner. In addition to his goal, Theocharidis also tallied two assists on the weekend, one being on the power play. His multiple point effort on Saturday was his first of the season.
