Bowling Green Adds LIU Transfer for the 2022 Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green football program has added LIU transfer Camden Orth, according to head football coach Scot Loeffler. Orth, a quarterback, spent three seasons at Long Island University. He will have three years of eligibility with the Falcons.
Orth (Gainesville, Fla.) appeared in 14 games over the last three seasons at LIU, an FCS school with campuses located in Brookville and Brooklyn, N.Y. Orth was 143-of-260 passing for 1,655 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2021 after appearing in all 10 games for the Sharks.
Orth was a 2019 graduate of Buchholz High School where he was a three-year letterwinner on varsity and led the Bobcats to district titles in 2016 and 2018. Orth passed for 4,711 yards and 48 touchdowns during his career at Buccholz as the Bobcats reached the second round of the playoffs in 2016 and 2018.
Orth has begun classes at BGSU this month, joining eight other transfers that signed letters of acceptance with the Falcons. He joins safety Chris Bacon (Georgia State), wide receiver Odieu Hiliare (Alabama A&M), offensive lineman Marcelo Mendiola (Cincinnati), cornerback Jordan Oladokun (Samford), offensive lineman Jakari Robinson (Memphis), placekicker Owen Rozanc (West Liberty) linebacker DJ Taylor (Wake Forest) and offensive lineman Bronson Warner (Abilene Christian).
