Men's Golf To Resume Play This Week At Missouri Tiger Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team will resume their spring schedule on Monday (April 11) for the first day of a two-day event, the Missouri Tiger Invitational. The invite will be played in Columbia, Mo. at The Club at Old Hawthorne. The field of 16 will play the first 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday with an 8:00 a.m. local, 9:00 a.m. EST, shotgun start each day. The Club at Old Hawthorne will provide a 7,221 yards for the golfers with a par of 72.

The Missouri Tiger Invitational Field
The Missouri Tiger Invitational will feature a field of 16 teams for the two-day event. Bowling Green will be the lone representative of the Mid-American Conference. The rest of the field will fill out with host Missouri, Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Boston College, Central Arkansas, DePaul, Drake, Eastern Kentucky, Kansas City, Missouri State, Morehead State, North Alabama, Oral Roberts, SIU Edwardsville and Wichita State.

Tom North

North competed at last year's Missouri Tiger Intercollegiate for the Falcons, posting a three-round score of 222 to finish second on the team. His best score came during the third round, registering a 72.

Ian Mackenzie-Olson

Mackenzie-Olson also teed it up for the Falcons at last year's Missouri Tiger Intercollegiate. Like North, Mackenzie-Olson's best round was the last one, posting a 74 for the Orange and Brown.

Brandon Rattray

This will be Rattray's first time playing in the Missouri Tiger Invitational and he's coming off his best round of the season. Rattray played at the Colleton River Collegiate and scored a 72 in the final round.

Connor Gdovin

Gdovin will return to the course for the Falcons for the first time since Feb. 15. Gdovin's best round of the year came in September at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invite, scoring a 70 in the first round.

Darin Hudak

Hudak will be competing in his third event this year for the Falcons and the first of the spring. He previously played in the Tom Tontimonia Invitational and the Bahamas Invitational.

Falcon Facts

The Falcons competed in last year's Missouri Tiger Invitational, concluding the event with a team score of 897.
The last time out the Orange and Brown posted a team score of 932 at the Colleton River Collegiate.
