Again, tied with Vie at the Firestone Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) finishing T-6th shooting -2 (72-72-70) led BG and tied for the tournament lead in total pars at 40, including having eight birdies on the tournament
In the final tournament for the fall, the Dayton Flyer Invitational (Oct. 14-15) he finished T-31st shooting +14 (79-75-73) and was T-2nd in Par 4 scoring average at 4.09... Went 2-1 at the Earl Yestingmeier Match Play (Feb. 10-11) event and was third in total pars with 35
