Simon, Chmiel To Join Coaches Show Monday Night Ahead Of Big BGSU Basketball Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly "Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Dec. 18) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. Bowling Green men's basketball head coach Todd Simon will join the "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker at 6 p.m. for the first half of the show. For the second half, women's basketball head coach Fred Chmiel will join beginning at 6:30 p.m. Fans can watch the show live at the Bowling Green Fricker's.

The men's basketball team is currently on a five-game winning streak with two home games this week, first hosting Hampton on Tuesday (Dec. 19) at 11 a.m. as well as Siena Heights on Friday (Dec. 22) at 2 p.m. Entering the week, the Falcons are first in the MAC in scoring defense, defensive field goal percentage and defensive rebounds per game.
The women's basketball team heads into the week with two ranked opponents, beginning with No. 1 South Carolina visiting the Stroh Center on Tuesday (Dec. 19) at 7 p.m. marking the first No. 1 team to play in the Stroh against Bowling Green. The Falcons will then conclude the week on Friday (Dec. 22), traveling to take on No. 15 Indiana.
