BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The inaugural Falcon Friday Fanatics Spirit parade is set for Friday, Sept. 8. The parade will run from 11 a.m. to noon and traverse through the BGSU campus.
The parade will commence on the east end of campus, across from Kriescher Hall. It will then proceed through the center of campus towards the Quad, concluding at the Mural reveal between Central and Eppler Hall.
At 12 p.m., the mural reveal will take place. A BGSU Arts Class will be painting a new mural between Central Hall and Eppler, featuring our battle cry "Ay Ziggy Zoomba!" The Falcon Food Truck will be on-site, distributing FREE food (sandwich, chips and a drink) and BGSU-themed cookies for the first 100 students.
From 12:30-1:30 p.m., this week's Orange Wave will be downtown at Qdoba. Fans are encouraged to visit one of BGSU's faithful sponsors. There will be a spin wheel at Qdoba to win prizes. BGSU Athletics' "Orange Wave" is a new initiative featuring Athletics staff and coaches descending on a department partner to highlight the partnership. All students, fans and community members are encouraged to participate! If you attend the Orange Wave at Qdoba, please be aware that due to the Black Swamp Arts Festival that parking on Main Street and behind Qdoba will be closed at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parking recommendations are in the lot behind Huntington Bank.
Remember to wear Orange on all Falcon Fridays to show your spirit.
