November 13, 2024 | Men's Golf
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head men's golf coach, John Powers, has announced LT Harris has signed with the Falcons for the 2025-26 academic year.
"We're so excited for LT to join the Falcons next season," said Powers. "He comes from one of the strongest golf regions in the country and his values align exceptionally well with BG and our golf program. The passion and enthusiasm for everything he does is matched by very few. For that reason, he just scratching the surface on what he will accomplish while wearing the Orange and Brown!"
LT Harris – Celina, Texas/Walnut Grove High School
LT Harris will be joining the Falcons from Walnut Grove High School. The Lonestar state native recorded three top three finishes during the 2024 season: North Texas PGA Showdown (2nd, 70-73), TJGT Flower Mound Classic (2nd, 71-71), TJGT Bridlewood Summer Blast (3rd, 73-75). Additionally, he helped his high school team win the Bart Granger Memorial tournament -16 under par with a season low round of 68 in the second round. Harris won the sportsmanship at the 2024 Bluegrass Junior tournament and was a member of the Texas High School District and Regional 5A championship team, that finished third at the state championship.
Why BGSU?
"I chose BG because I felt at home when I walked on campus. It felt like a place where I could grow as a golfer and athlete and in my development as a person. That, combined with the camaraderie of my future teammates and coaching staff, made it the perfect fit for me."
