Joe Sharp continues a 50-year family relationship with the BGSU athletic department and has served as the Equipment Manager for the Falcon football team since 1981. In addition to working with football, Sharp is responsible for outfitting the men[apos]s basketball, women[apos]s basketball, track, and volleyball programs. He took over the job his father, Glenn, had held since 1956. The elder Sharp, one of the most beloved figures associated with BGSU athletics, passed away in October, 2000. Joe, a lifelong Bowling Green resident, is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. After attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, he earned his bachelor[apos]s degree from BGSU in Earth Science in 1980. He and his wife, Shelly, have two children, Tyler (20) and Evan (15).
