Kacie Allison joined BGSU as the assistant director of strength and conditioning coach in June of 2022.
She previously spent one academic year at Elon as an assistant sports performance coach, overseeing women's volleyball, women's track and field, men's and women's cross country teams.
During her first year working with the volleyball and track & field, both teams had extremely successful campaigns. Track & field won the CAA 2021 Outdoor Championship, and volleyball went on to compete in the 2021 CAA championship match.
Prior to Elon, Allison was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Illinois-Springfield, where she was responsible for working with all 15 NCAA Division II teams. Allison previously completed internships with Elon in the summer of 2021, as well as Trinity College in the spring of 2021.
Allison received her undergraduate degree in exercise science from American International College in May of 2021. Additionally, Allison was a two-sport athlete, competing on both the softball and women's triathlon teams at AIC. She was a team captain, Academic All-American, and recipient of the L.T. Alvin J. Carocari Scholarship Award for her outstanding athletic and leadership contributions.
Allison holds certifications including NSCA-CSCS, CPR-AED, and is a certified Cardio-Sport Instructor.
