Rami Alazhari recently completed his third season with the BGSU men’s soccer program. After two years as a student manager, Alazhari served as the team's media coordinator in 2017. He helps head coach Eric Nichols and his staff with a myriad of duties at practices, in the office and on match day.
The Falcons have won a total of 25 matches in Alazhari's three seasons with the program. In 2016, BGSU went 9-6-4 and finished in second place in the Mid-American Conference regular-season standings, the program's highest finish since the 2002 season. BG was undefeated in conference play for the first time since 1996.
Alazhari, a native of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a senior at BGSU, and is majoring in sport management. He was a goalkeeper for the Manila Nomads youth team, and also played for the Manila Nomads Braves. Alazhari was named the Braves’ Player of the Year in 2011.
