SHOEMAKER AND THE FALCONS
The highest-scoring goalkeeper in BGSU history, with five career points on a goal and three assists ... his goal was the first by a [apos]keeper in BGSU history, and came in the program[apos]s 44th year ... with 259 total saves, finished his BG career ranked sixth in school history in that category.
2008
Played in 15 matches, starting each ... had a 1.82 goals-against average and one shutout ... made a total of 66 saves ... set a school record for a goalkeeper, with four points on the season ... had a goal -- the first by a [apos]keeper in school history -- and two assists ... had his first assist of the year in the Saint Francis (Pa.) game of Sept. 21, as his free kick from midfield was headed home by Jacob Lawrence ... also had a shot on goal in that match, with a header in the final minute of play ... then, the next time out, had the first three-point game by a BG goalie, with a goal and an assist at Marshall (Sept. 27) ... assisted on Byard Ebling[apos]s goal, then scored on a penalty kick vs. the Thundering Herd ... his assist in that game came when his free kick from the middle of the field hit off the crossbar, before Ebling knocked it home ... is believed to have put together the first point-scoring streak by a GK in program history ... had eight saves in the Hartwick game (Oct. 4) ... went over the 200-save mark for his career with six stops in the Furman match (Sept. 5) ... made six saves in a narrow 1-0 loss at nationally-ranked Ohio State (Oct. 1) ... made seven stops in the season-opening game, at South Florida (Aug. 30) ... had a 3-11-1 record on the year ... at the offensive end of the pitch, had a total of six shot attempts -- all on goal -- on the season ... played every minute of the first 12 matches of the year ... also played in both Northern Illinois games and the final home game vs. Buffalo (Nov. 1).
2007
Played in 13 matches, starting ... had a career-low goals-against average of 1.75 ... named to the Falcon Classic All-Tournament Team ... named the MAC Player of the Week on Sept. 24 after allowing one goal over the prior two matches ... opened the season with a shutout over 110 minutes as the Falcons played to a scoreless draw at Florida International (Aug. 31) ... also had shutouts against Central Arkansas (Sept. 14) and Wright State (Sept. 23) ... made a season-high seven saves vs. both American (Sept. 9) and Hartwick (Oct. 14) ... recorded his first collegiate assist in the latter game ... had a record of 3-8-2 and 54 saves.
2006
Played in 15 matches, starting all 15 ... had a 2.51 goals-against average and a total of 59 saves ... posted his first collegiate shutout in a 3-0 victory at Detroit (Oct. 3) ... made a season-high seven saves in the Northern Illinois game (Sept. 29), and had six stops against Western Michigan in the regular-season meeting (Oct. 27) ... in addition to UDM, posted wins over Western Illinois (Aug. 25), Pittsburgh (Oct. 11) and Western Michigan (Oct. 31), with the latter game coming on the road in the quarterfinal round of the MAC Tournament.
2005
Played in 16 matches, starting each of them ... had 80 saves in 1507:04, leading the Falcons in both categories ... also led the team with a goals-against average of 1.91 ... had a season-high 11 saves in his second collegiate game, against Eastern Illinois (Sept. 4), in a 1-1 tie ... was in net for all four Falcon wins and both ties ... made his first start against Sacred Heart (Sept. 3) ... first collegiate victory came as the Falcons downed Ohio State, ranked #11 in the nation at the time, 3-2 in overtime (Sept. 23) ... also got wins against St. Mary[apos]s (Calif.) (Sept. 25), Cleveland State (Oct. 26) and IPFW (Oct. 30) ... had nine saves vs. SMC and eight against both Loyola (Oct. 2) and Western Illinois (Oct. 23) ... had a 4-10-2 record.

Played for the Michigan Wolves 87 ... helped team win the last two State Cups and reach the regional semifinals two years ago ... perennial ODP standout ... ODP regional team in 2002 and regional pool 2001-2004 ... State team 2000-2005.
