Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics has announced season ticket pricing for men's and women's basketball for the first season in the Stroh Center in 2011-12.
Men's basketball seats in the Anderson Club area will sell for $265 and the remainder of the seating in the arena will be $165. Club seats for women's basketball will sell for $180 and $115 for non-club seats. To purchase club seats, fans must be members of the Falcon Club at the $500 annual giving level. There will be a second non-club premium seating area that will require minimum Falcon Club membership at the $100 annual giving level. As well, there will be 40 courtside seats that will be priced the same as Anderson Club arena seats.
Those who purchase season tickets for the upholstered club or courtside seats will have access to the Anderson Club area which will feature high end concessions, adult beverages, coat closets, flat-screen televisions, and a lounge area. As well, those fans will have the opportunity to purchase parking passes in a club-seat only area in the Stroh Center parking lot.
Club seats are on sale now and are being allocated through priority seating order based on lifetime giving, and consecutive years of loyalty as a season-ticket holder (original priority seating release). In May, invitations to purchase club seats will be sent to Falcon Club members, season ticket holders and corporate partners. If club seats remain, they will go on sale to the general public later in the summer. The remaining seats in the arena will go on sale in mid-July.
“This is an exciting time for BGSU Athletics,” Mary Ellen Gillespie, Associate Athletics Director for External Relations, said. “A building like the Stroh Center is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and there has been a great deal of interest in the Anderson Club seats. Now that they are installed in the building, we are excited to celebrate the milestone of seat selection with our fans.”

The Stroh Center, set to open in September 2011, will be the home to men's and women's basketball and volleyball. The facility will seat 4400 on game day, of which approximately 400 seats will be club seats with access to the Anderson Club. The $36 million building was funded with $14 million in private funds and $22 million in debt service. The building is named for Kermit and the late Mary Lu Stroh, who provided the lead gift of $7.7 million, the second-largest gift in university history.
