Andre Young

Andre Young, a four-year letterwinner, sat out the 1978 season with a knee injury. He bounced back nicely, playing linebacker in the 1979 and 1980 seasons. As a junior, he moved to defensive tackle, and was amond the MAC leaders in tackles for loss, with 15. As a senior, Young led the Falcons to a 7-2 record and California Bowl berth, while being name to the All-MAC First Team. He led the MAC as a senior with 26 tackles for a loss.
Young was drafted in the 12th round by the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL, while also playing for Denver (USFL), Calgary (CFL), and Green Bay (NFL).
Andre Young was inducted to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004.
