Dennis Palmer was a standout wrestler for Bowling Green in the mid-60's, leading the team to the MAC championship in 1966. In his three years of varsity competition, Palmer compiled a 34-5-1 record and won three MAC individual championships. He received the Distinguished Senior Award in 1966. In 1965 he went on to compete in the NCAA tournament.Â
Dennis Palmer was elected to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1979.
