Donald Kepler

Donald Kepler, a 1949 graduate of Washington High School, began his college career in the middle of the 1951-52 campaign. He won his first college event against Cincinnati by taking the 100 in :54.1. Kepler was an excellent sprinter for the Falcons, and helped win many relay racers with his fast anchor. Kepler helped the golf team to a second place finish at the MAC meet with a team low of 146. He competed in both swimming and golf through the 1956 season, leading the golf team to the 1956 MAC championship as their captain.
After graduating from BGSU Kepler moved to Florida where he began his teaching career and still hitting the golf courses.
Donald Kepler was inducted to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1972.
