Doyt Perry

Doyt Perry, with a career record of 77-11-5 in 10 seasons at Bowling Green, was inducted into the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 1988. Before his graduation from Bowling Green in 1932, Doyt Perry served as the quarterback of the football team. He returned to his alma mater after a stint on the staff of Woody Hayes' at Ohio State. His Falcon teams won five MAC championships between 1955-64. The 1959 team was the National College Division Champions. Doyt Perry was also the university's athletic director from 1965-70.
As of 2011, the Falcons still play their home games inside the friendly confines of Doyt Perry Stadium.
Doyt Perry was inducted to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1971.
