James Inman

James Inman was a multi-sport athlete competing in football, basketball, track and baseball at Bowling Green before graduating in 1942 with a master of arts degree.
During his time on the football team, Inman recieved All-Ohio conference honors at fullback for the 1934 season. He also recieved an All-Ohio honorable mention in the same season. During the 1936 season, under head Coach Harry Ockerman, Inman served as the captain of the BGSU football team, sporting a 4-2-3 season record, outscoring opponents 66-60 in the season.Â
As a teacher he touched well over a generation of students at Hillsdale High School. As a community activist, he tirelessly developed the city's recreational offerings.
James Inman was inducted to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1966.
