Robert Schnelker

Robert Schnelker was an All-Ohio end for two years. He caught 53 passes for 16 touchdowns, while also competing on the track team. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns, and picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles after being discharged from the Marines. From the Eagles, Schnelker was traded to the New York Giants where he played for nine seasons. He played in the Pro Bowl in 1958 and 1959.
After retiring from the NFL, Schnelker moved to coaching. He helped coach the Green Bay Packers to the first ever Super Bowl. In 2011, Schnelker was inducted into the Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame located in Saduscky, OH.Â
Roberl Schnelker was inducted to the BGSU Ahtletic Hall of Fame in 1964.
