TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Greg Stempin had 23 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer in the closing minutes, as Toledo beat Bowling Green 76-73 Saturday to stay unbeaten in conference play.
Stempin shot 7-of-15 with three 3-pointers and had 13 rebounds. Nick Moore made 4-of-9 3-point attempts and had 20 points for Toledo (12-3, 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference). Toledo made 10-of-23 3-point attempts as a team.
Stempin's 3-pointer gave Toledo a 70-68 lead with 1:40 remaining and the Falcons never recovered.
Len Matela led the Falcons with 22 points. Keith McLeod scored 19 and Trent Jackson added 16 for Bowling Green (6-7, 2-2).
