Men's Hoops Rallies To Upend Indiana State, 65-55

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) - Keith McLeod scored 32 points as Bowling Green rallied to beat Indiana State 65-55 Saturday for its ninth straight victory.
McLeod, a senior guard, had 22 points in the second half, 19 of them during a 29-16 run that lifted the Falcons from a 28-23 halftime deficit to a 52-46 lead with 8:11 to play.
McLeod hit his first eight shots of the second half and finished 11-of-19, including 6-of-10 3-pointers. He ended up one point short of his career high.
Bowling Green (10-1) also 18 points by Kevin Netter, who matched his career high.
A basket by Netter with 45 seconds put the Falcons up 59-53, and the Sycamores (2-9) never recovered, losing their fifth straight game.
Indiana State hit eight of its first 14 shots in taking an 18-9 lead but did not have a field goal in the final 7:51 of the first half. The Sycamores shot 37 percent (17-of-46) for the game. Marcus Howard hit his first three shots and led the Sycamores with 10 points.
Bowling Green's winning streak is its longest since 1980, when the Falcons won 10 in a row.
