PITTSBURGH (AP) - Keith McLeod had 28 points and five rebounds as Bowling Green came from behind to beat Duquesne 64-62 on Wednesday night.
Duquesne (2-3) led 32-30 at the half and stretched their advantage to 41-35 before Bowling Green (6-1) began a 25-8 run that gave them their largest lead of the night, 60-49 with 5:37 left.
The Dukes closed to within two, 62-60, after an Aly Samabaly layup with 54 seconds left. But McLeod sank two key free throws to stretch the lead to 64-60 before Wayne Smith scored a meaningless buzzer-beater for the final margin.
Smith led Duquesne with 21 points, while Aaron Lovelace had 13 points and led both teams with eight rebounds.
McLeod was the only player in double figures for Bowling Green.
The Dukes entered the game shooting 50 percent from 3-point range at home, but were just 2-for-7, including an 0-for-3 second half.
