Falcons Overcome Halftime Deficit To Defeat Ohio, 78-68

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) - Keith McLeod scored 28 points Wednesday night in leading Bowling Green to a 78-68 victory over Ohio.
Len Matela put in 19 points and had 15 rebounds, and Cory Ryan added 14 points for the Falcons (9-10 overall, 5-5 Mid-American Conference), who were 15-for-23 from the floor for 65.2 percent in the second half after a 27 percent performance in the first half.
Brandon Hunter scored 23 points and Patrick Flomo had 15 with 10 rebounds for the Bobcats (12-8, 7-4).
Ohio led 35-29 at halftime. Bowling Green took its first lead of the second half when Matela scored to make it 50-49 with 13:17 to play and the Falcons never trailed after that.
Matela's basket started an 8-2 run that made it 56-51 with 11:37 to go. McLeod, who was perfect in 12 free throw attempts, scored 11 of Bowling Green's final 16 points, including six free throws.
