Men's and Women's Swimming Announce 2001-02 Schedule

Bowling Green - The Bowling Green men's and women's swimming and diving teams have announced their schedule for the 2001-02 season. BGSU opens the season with the Jean Campbell Brown and Orange meet on Friday, Oct. 5, followed by an Alumni Meet on Oct. 6, both in the Cooper Pool on the campus of Bowling Green.
BGSU kicks off the competitive portion of its season by hosting the Tom Stubbs Relay at Cooper Pool on Friday, Oct. 19, with eight teams competing. That is followed by a dual meet against visiting Wayne State on Oct. 20. The Falcons then host Eastern Michigan and Toledo in a tri-meet, Nov. 2-3, and have Kalamazoo visit the following Friday, Nov. 9.
The Brown and Orange are on the road for their next five meets, including trips to Xavier, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ft. Lauderdale and Cleveland State.
The final two home meets include visits from Findlay (Jan. 25), and a tri-meet with Ohio and Miami (Feb. 2). The women's Mid-American Championships will be held at Ysilanti, Mich., from Feb. 28 - March 2 while the men's championships will be held from March 7-9 in Athens, Ohio.
