Bowling Green Swim Team Announces Captains

Bowling Green State University's head swimming coach Randy Julian announced captains for the 2001-01 season this week.

The two captains on the men's team are Kevin Anderson (Fairlawn, Ohio) and Paul Bizzaro (Bellbrook, Ohio). Anderson was voted Most Valuable Swimmer for the 2000-01 season. He also holds the Falcon record in the 100 fly (49.84, 5th/MAC Meet). Bizzaro is ranked in the BG's Top Swimmer List in the 200 back (19th/MAC Meet).

Kelly Pydynowski (Bloomington, Illinois) and Kim Moden (Napoleon, Ohio) were named the co-captains on the women's side. Pydynowski was a member of the 200 and 400 medley relays that placed fourth and ninth, respectively, in the MAC Meet. Moden, voted Female Athlete of the Year for the 2000-01 season, is ranked second in the 50 free on the BG Top Swimmer's List.

The Falcons begin their season with the Jean Campbell inter-squad meet on October 5 (3:00 p.m.) at Cooper Pool.
