Men's Track Team Hosts All-Ohio

The Bowling Green Men's Track team finished third in the All-Ohio Championships Saturday, February 9 at Perry Field House. The Falcons competed against fifteen other squads in their final meet before hosting the MAC Championships.
BG was led by repeat top performers Zerian Peterson, Josh Cook and Durond Clark. Peterson won the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 49.21, while fellow junior Cook placed second in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 1:54.92. Freshman Clark placed third in the 200 Meter Dash with a mark of 22.48. Other individuals performing well for the Falcons were freshman Grant Shadden, who placed second in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 8:27.40 and sophomore Jamal Salahuddin, who placed third in the shot put with a mark of 54'01 1/4.
The Falcons will take a week off to rest before hosting the Mid-American Conference Championships in two weeks. The meet will be held Firday and Saturday, February 22 and 23 in Perry Field House.
