Falcons To Face NIU Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Bowling Green State University men's tennis team has learned the identity of its opening opponent in the Mid-American Conference Championships. The Falcons, the top seed for the six-team tournament, will meet fourth-seeded Northern Illinois University in Friday's (April 26) semifinal round. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the UB Tennis Center.
In the event of inclement weather, the match would be moved indoors to the Village Glen Tennis and Fitness Club in Williamsville, N.Y., and would begin at 2:00
The Huskies advanced to the semifinal round with a 4-1 win over fifth-seeded Toledo on Thursday. Third-seeded Western Michigan blanked sixth-seeded Buffalo, 4-0, in Thursday's other match, and the Broncos move on to face #2 Ball State in Friday's second semifinal.
