The Bowling Green men's golf team is in 8th place after the first day of the John Piper Intercollegiate tournament. The Falcons have a total team score of 599 after the first two rounds and are one point shy of the University of Dayton who is in 7th place with a score of 598.
Sophomore Craig Pickerel is leading the Falcons, shooting a 146 during the first two rounds of the tournament. Pickerel is tied for 10th with that mark. Competition continues Tuesday, September 17, at the Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio.
