DEKALB, Illinois - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team fell in three to Northern Illinois Saturday night inside Victor E. Court 28-30, 22-30, 23-30. The Falcons will travel to Eastern Michigan on Tuesday, November 18, to face the Eagles in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Senior Samantha Rennau paced the Falcons with a team-high 11 kills, as well as 12 digs.
Junior Taylor Twite was the only other Falcon to reach double-digit kills with 10, to go along with a .207 hitting percentage.
On the defensive side of the ball Susie Norris posted 11 digs, and Melissa Mohr led all Falcons with a solo block and five block-assists.
The Falcons finish the 2003 regular season at 12-18 overall and 4-12 in league play.
