BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Kevin Netter's 20 points and eight rebounds helped Bowling Green hold on for a 56-52 victory over Detroit Thursday.
John Reimold added 17 points and hit four of seven shots from 3-point range for the Falcons (3-5). He scored 11 during the second half, throughout which Bowling Green maintained a single-digit lead.
Bowling Green, which led 29-21 at half, never trailed after taking a 6-4 lead about five minutes into the game.
James Thues led Detroit with 12 points, while Willie Wallace and Rulon Harris each added 10. Ben Green grabbed eight rebounds and scored six points.
The Falcons 47 percent from the floor, while the Titans made 39 percent of their shots. Detroit also made only one of its 13 3-point attempts.
