Softball Adds A Game To Trip

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University softball team has added a game to the team's upcoming trip. The Falcons, already heading to Louisville, Ky., for a tournament on Saturday and Sunday (March 8-9), will play a single game against the Cardinals on Friday afternoon (March 7). That contest is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start at UL's Ulmer Stadium.

The Falcons of head coach Leigh Ross-Shaw are 2-3 on the season. BGSU has been idle since Feb. 16, as a scheduled tournament at Tennessee Tech on Feb. 21-23 was cancelled due to weather. The Falcons had been scheduled to play six games in that tourney.

Following Friday's game, BGSU will play in UL's Red and Black Classic, taking on Illinois State Saturday, and playing games against Ohio and UL on Sunday.

After the tournament, the Brown and Orange will play a Tuesday (March 11) doubleheader at Morehead State.
