Falcon Men Tied for 11th After Day One of Penn State Tourney

University Park, Pa. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team is tied for 11th place after day one of the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State University in University Park, Pa. The Falcons have a team score of 305 and are tied with St. Joseph (Pa.) in the 15-team tournament.
Senior Falcon Andy Miller leads the team with a score of 74 after one round, good enough for a tie for 20th place. Other Falcon finishes after day one include redshirt-sophomore Craig Pickerel (T-39th, 76), freshman Bud Ziglar (T-39th, 76), freshman Chris Leake (T-60th, 79), and redshirt-sophomore Tommy Lopez (77th, 84).
Western Kentucky leads the tournament with a one-round score of 287.
The final two rounds of the tournament will be played on Sunday, April 27 in University Park, Pa.
