BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - John Reimold scored 29 points and Josh Almanson contributed nine of his 19 points in an early second-half surge that helped Bowling Green beat Eastern Michigan 84-68 Saturday.
Kevin Netter added 15 points, including eight during the 25-11 run that gave the Falcons (5-7, 1-1 Mid-American Conference) a 60-40 lead with 10:30 remaining.
Reimold made two of his five 3-pointers during the run and Almanson scored inside and out, converting a putback, two layups and a 3-pointer.
John Bowler led the Eagles (4-5, 0-2) with 26 points. James Jackson added 17 points and nine rebounds and JaQuan Hart had 10 points for Eastern Michigan.
Bowling Green increased its 35-29 halftime lead by hitting 14-of-18 shots (77.8 percent) from the floor in the second half.
Reimold made 11-of-14 shots from the floor and hit 5-of-7 from 3-point range. Almanson hit 8-of-11 shots and also had eight rebounds.
