BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Josh Almanson scored 22 points and John Reimold added 15 to help Bowling Green beat Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne 86-70 on Tuesday.
Steven Wright also had 14 points and eight assists for the Falcons (6-1), who shot 79 percent from the field in the first half.
Jason Malone made 5 of 8 3-pointers and scored 22 points for IPFW (3-8), which made 22 of 31 free throws. David Simon had 13 points and seven rebounds.
Wright made a 3-pointer with 15:26 left in the first half, igniting a 12-0 run for Bowling Green. Cory Eyink finished it off with a dunk to give the Falcons a 24-6 lead.
Bowling Green led by as many as 26 in the second half.
John Floyd also had 13 points for the Falcons, who outrebounded the Mastodons 28-22.
IPFW's Quintin Carouthers finished with 12 points.
