Bradenton, Florida - Bowling Green jumped out to a 6-0 lead by the fifth inning and never looked back, defeating Connecticut on Sunday afternoon, 8-3, in Bradenton, Florida. BGSU improves to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 on their Spring Break trip. UConn drops to 3-3 on the season.
Senior Burke Badenhop pitched very well for the Falcons, lasting 5.1 innings and allowing just one run to improve to 2-0 on the season. Redshirt sophomore Greg Becker pitched the eight and ninth innings and earned his first career save.
Senior Andy Hudak and sophomore Josh Dietz paced the Falcons offensively with three hits apiece.
