BGSU Men's Golf Finishes 12th at Irish Spring Invitational

Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team kicked off its Spring season with a 12th-place finish at the Irish Spring Invitational at Howie-In-The-Hills, Florida. The tournament was hosted by Notre Dame. BGSU finished with a team score of 951 (303-318-330) while Wichita State captured the tournament with a team score of 885 (288-285-312).
Junior Heath Ziglar was the top Falcon, finishing tied for 30th with a score of 234 (78-74-82). Junior Chris Leake ended T-49th (241), senior Craig Pickerel and sophomore Dan McIntyre finished T-59th (245), and freshman Jace Walker ended 71st (251).
Freshman Trevor Spathelf (T-72nd, 254) and sophomore Brad Dearsman (T-73rd, 255) each competed as individuals for the Falcons.
BGSU next competes in the Pinehurst Invitational in Pinehurst, N.C., March 28-29.
