BGSU Men's Golf Finishes 7th at Marshall Invitational

Huntington, W.V. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished seventh at the Marshall Invitational with a 54-hole score of 876 (296-289-291) on Saturday, April 9. Louisville won the 16-team tournament with a tournament record score of 847.
Junior Chris Leake finished 12th with a three-round score of 212, including a career-best round of 67 on day two. He also shot rounds of 73 and 72. Junior Heath Ziglar finished T-17th with a score of 215 (73-70-72).
Also finishing for the Falcons were junior Dan McIntyre who placed T-44th (224), junior Tommy Lopez who finished T-49th (225), and sophomore Adam Cordes who finished T-77th (237).
BGSU competes next weekend (April 16-17) at the FirstEnergy Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Akron at Firestone Country Club.
