Westerville, Ohio - Bowling Green men's golf is in eighth place after three rounds of the 2005 Mid-American Conference at the Medallion Club in Westerville, Ohio. The Falcons have a score of 879 (293-296-290) after recording a round of 290 on Friday, one off its season low.
Kent State expanded its lead to 14 strokes and six strokes separate third through sixth places after the third round at the par-72, 6,875-yard Medallion Club in Westerville, Ohio.
Junior Chris Leake leads the Falcons with a 54-hole score of 214 (70-73-71) and sits in a tie for seventh place. Junior Tommy Lopez is right behind Leake with a score of 215 (72-72-71) and is 12th. Lopez' round of 71 on Friday is a season low. Rounding out the Falcon squad is junior Heath Ziglar who is T-38th (224), senior Craig Pickerel who is 47th (230), and junior Dan McIntyre who is 50th (236).
The final round will begin tomorrow morning with the first group teeing off at the No. 1 tee at 8 a.m. EDT. Players will also tee off from No. 10 beginning at 8:20 a.m.
