BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Mawel Soler's 17 points, nine rebounds and five steals led Bowling Green to a 59-52 win Sunday over Toledo.
The Falcons (6-8, 2-2 Mid-American Conference) also got 11 points, five assists and five steals from Steven Wright in 32 minutes off the bench. Bowling Green guard Martin Samarco managed 12 points despite shooting 2-of-10 from 3-point range and just 3-of-21 (14 percent) overall.
Justin Ingram shot 1-of-9 from behind the arc but still scored 15 points to lead the Rockets (8-5, 1-4). Kashif Payne's 10 points made him the only other Toledo player in double figures.
Bowling Green won despite being outshot 39 percent to 33 percent. The Falcons went 20-of-24 from the free-throw line while Toledo made just 11 of 19 attempts, all of them coming in the second half.
