KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - Brian Snider scored a career-high 28 points to lead Western Michigan to an 84-62 victory over Bowling Green on Saturday.
Joe Reitz and Derek Fracalossi also reached double figures in scoring as the Broncos (4-8, 1-1 Mid-American) broke a three-game losing streak in their most lopsided win of the season.
John Floyd led Bowling Green (5-7, 1-1) with 23 points. The Falcons lost for the first time in four games and lost to Western Michigan for the seventh consecutive time.
Reitz achieved his second double-double of the season with 21 points and a season-high 13 rebounds. Fracalossi scored a career-high 11 points.
Snider, the Mid-American Conference leader in assists, had a team-high five assists. He hit three of four 3-point shots and all seven of his free throws.
Bowling Green's Martin Samarco, the No. 3 scorer in the conference, scored 14 points - 3.8 fewer than his average. Mawel Soler added 10 points and five assists.
Western Michigan rallied from an early nine-point deficit for the win, going 7-for-10 from 3-point range in the first half and securing a 19-point turnaround in a 13-minute stretch.
The Falcons led 13-4 after hitting their first six shots of the game.
The Broncos, playing at home for the first time in nearly a month, made 54.4 percent of their shots, including 16 of 28 in the second half. Bowling Green shot 40.4 percent.
