Men's Golf Finishes Ninth At MAC Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished the 2006 MAC Championships with a ninth-place finish. The 72-hole event, which took place at the Brickyard Crossings in Indianapolis, Indiana, was won by Kent State.
The Brown and Orange finished the event with a team score of 1198 (303-302-294-299)
On Saturday senior Heath Ziglar carded a final round 69, the best score among the 45 golfers the final 18 holes. Ziglar finished the MAC Championships in sixth-place (291).
Also competing for the Falcons were Jace Walker (298, T-24th), Trevor Spathelf (306, T-36th), Dan McIntyre (312,44th) and Tommy Lopez (313, 45th).
