Jace Walker Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Junior Jace Walker carded a 145 (76-69), helping the Falcons to a third-place finish at the 2006 John Piper Intercollegiate. For his efforts Walker was named Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week.
On day one of competition Walker fired a 76 in the cold, wind and rain and sat in 16th among the 75 golfers. The following day he shot a 69, second-best score for the entire tournament. The 69 was also just one shot shy of his career-best.
He finished the John Piper in fifth-place.
