OXFORD, Ohio (AP) - Tim Pollitz scored 14 points and Miami beat Bowling Green 66-60 in Mid-American Conference play Wednesday night.
Michael Bramos and Nathan Peavy added 12 points apiece for the RedHawks (6-10, 2-2), and Peavy had seven rebounds. Alex Moosmann scored 11 points, making all three of his 3-point attempts.
The score was tied once, and the Falcons (10-7, 1-3) never had the lead. They closed within one point, 19-18, with just under 7 minutes left in the first half, but Miami responded with a 15-0 run toward a 36-22 halftime lead.
Miami led by as many as 16 points in the first half, and Bowling Green had a late 7-0 run in the second half to cut its deficit to 54-49 with about four minutes left to play.
Nate Miller scored a career high 21 points and was the only Bowling Green player to hit double digits.
Miller added six rebounds and made the only 3-pointer for the Falcons, who attempted 13. Miami hit 6-of-16 3-pointers.
