"This afternoon was a good win," said Head Coach Denise Van De Walle. "We needed a 3-0 match to get ready for the big week we have coming up. Once again Meghan led us offensively. She was really hard to stop at the net. She hit the ball hard and caused Toledo's defense a lot of trouble. It was great to see her put together back-to-back high level performances. She looked great."
"Susie and Louise came in off the bench to give us a boost offensively. We were struggling at the left side position and we needed a spark to get us going. They both came in and did a really good job."
"Chelsey had another good day in the backrow picking up double digit digs again. It's incredible to know that she does this day in and day out. She has been so steady for us all year. She plays with a lot of confidence. That's exactly what we need from her."
The Falcons will return to action as they wrap-up their four-match homestand hosting the leaders of the MAC. The Falcons will battle the Miami RedHawks, MAC East Division leader on Thursday (Oct. 30) at 7:00 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
